CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE SUPREMO 
1 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal ("powderize" in blender or food processor)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. (1 lg. pkg.) chocolate chips
4 oz. grated chocolate candy bar
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In large mixer bowl, cream the butter and sugars, add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, oatmeal, baking powder and soda in separate bowl. Mix into sugar/egg mixture. Stir in chocolate chips, grated chocolate and nuts.

Form dough into golf sized balls. Place on greased cookie sheets and bake 12 to 14 minutes, being careful not to over bake.

BONUS: A combination of shredded coconut and chopped macadamia nuts make an even yummier version of this "Mrs. Field's look-alike" cookie. enjoy.

If you have a large mixer, double the recipe and freeze a supply. Yield: over 25 large cookies.
