Melted semi-sweet chocolate

In a heavy saucepan heat 1 package of the semi-sweet chocolate pieces, the unsweetened chocolate and butter until melted, stirring constantly. Transfer to a large mixer bowl to cool slightly.

Stir together the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.

Add eggs, sugar and vanilla to chocolate mixture; beat with an electric mixer until combined. Add flour mixture and beat on low speed until well mixed. Stir in remaining chocolate pieces and nuts.

Using a measuring cup or ice cream scoop, drop dough 1/4 cup at a time 3" apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are firm and surface is dull and cracked. Let stand 2 minutes. Remove; cool on wire racks. Drizzle with melted white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate. Makes 24.

Very rich. A little chalky.
