PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES WITH A
TWIST
 
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. sesame seed
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. peanut butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 to 2 c. toasted wheat germ

In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, sesame seed, and soda. In a large mixer bowl, beat butter on medium for 30 seconds or until soft. Add brown sugar, peanut butter, eggs, vanilla and nutmeg; beat well on medium speed. Add flour, mixture, beat on low speed until combined. Shape into 1 inch balls.

Roll in wheat germ. Place 2 inches apart, cover on a greased cookie sheet and gently flatten with the bottom of a glass. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes until light brown on bottom. Cool.
