POTATOES AU GRATIN 
6 lg. potatoes, sliced thin
2 onions, sliced thin
4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. Swiss cheese, grated
2 c. Romano cheese, grated
1 c. milk
1/4 c. light wine

Oil a 13 x 9 x 3 inch glass dish. Layer potatoes, layer onions, salt and red pepper to taste. Then a layer each of Cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, and Romano cheese. Repeat layers in order. Pour milk and wine over mixture and bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
