POUND CAKE 
1 lb. Miracle Whip butter (6 sticks)
2 3/4 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. sifted flour (cake flour)
8 eggs, separated
1/2 c. Pet milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. lemon flavoring
Pinch of salt

Cream sugar and butter, add egg yolks, beat well. Mix in rest of ingredients, saving stiffly beaten egg white to fold in last. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes on lower rack of oven in large angel food tube pan.

1/2 c. black walnuts
1/2 c. pecans
4 sticks butter
