CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 lg. head cabbage
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. sausage
1/2 c. uncooked minute rice
Salt & pepper to taste
1 lg. can tomato juice
1 sliced onion

Set cabbage in water on end and boil just until leaves come off. Mix together ground beef, sausage, rice, salt and pepper. Place approximately 1 rounded tablespoon meat mixture on one cabbage leaf and roll up tucking in sides, secure with toothpick if needed.

Layer cabbage rolls in large pan. Pour tomato juice over top and slice onion over this. Cover with lid, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 3-4 hours.
