NO CHEESE KOLACKY | |
4 sticks butter 4 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 c. water Pinch of salt (optional) Have butter at room temperature (very soft). Mix well with fork. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing well. Add water; mix well. Place in refrigerator (DO NOT FREEZE). let stand in refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight. Make little balls the size of a walnut; flatten and fill with desired filling. Fold dough over filling, making little pillows. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees until very light brown. |
