LEMON POUND CAKE | |
1 pkg. Deluxe lemon cake mix 1 pkg. lemon INSTANT pudding mix (4 serving size) 1 c. water 1/3 c. vegetable oil 4 eggs Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease and flour bundt or tube pan. Blend all ingredients in large bowl; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. (Do NOT test for doneness by touching with finger. Crust will be darker than regular layer cake.) Cool cake in pan for 25 minutes, then invert onto serving plate. Prepare Glaze: Bring to boil 1 cup sugar and juice of 1 lemon. Mix and drizzle over warm cake. |
