PEANUT BUTTER CAKE | |
3/4 c. butter 1/3 c. peanut butter 4 eggs 1/2 c. buttermilk 2 c. sugar 3 tsp. baking powder 3 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. water Let ingredients come to room temperature. Grease and flour round, bundt or square cake pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Beat with mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat at medium speed 2 minutes, scrape bowl often. Pour into pan. Bake 45 minutes. Reduce temperature to 325 degrees; bake 20 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan, cool and frost. PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING: 1/4 c. peanut butter 1 c. powdered sugar 3-5 tbsp. buttermilk |
