PARTY PORK AND BEANS | |
Goes great with BBQ or is good as a side dish all by itself. No need to add any type of seasoning, as tomatoes and sausage give it just the right amount of heat. I get begged to make this for every party we have! 2 (22 oz. ea.) cans Bush's Grillin' beans (steakhouse & smokehouse my fav) 2 (1 lb. ea.) rolls Jimmy Dean sausage (1 regular, 1 hot) 1 (10 oz.) can Rotel tomatoes w/ green chilies 1 onion, finely chopped 2 tbsp. minced garlic olive oil Sauté onions and garlic in a little olive oil while browning sausage in a separate skillet. Add can of Rotel to onions/garlic and cook down for approximately 10 minutes. Mix in sausage then beans. Cover and cook approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring frequently to avoid sticking. Enjoy! Serves 8 to 10. Submitted by: A. Carmouche |
