PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE CANDY | |
1/2 lb. butter 1 lb. box powdered sugar 1 1/4 c. peanut butter 1/2 lb. chopped nuts 2 (12 oz.) bags chocolate chips In large pot on low heat, melt butter. Pour in peanut butter. (If you microwave it, it will pour easy.) Mix thoroughly. Add powdered sugar and blend in completely. Turn off heat. Spread mixture in 9 x 12 inch ungreased pan. Spread nuts on top and press into mixture with flat utensil. Melt chocolate chips and pour over nuts and peanut butter. Allow to cool, cut in squares. If you put it in the refrigerator the chocolate gets too hard to cut neatly. If crunchy peanut butter is used then Rice Krispies can be substituted for the chopped nuts. |
