BAKED CARAMEL CORN 
2 sticks (1 c.) butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white syrup

Boil above 6 minutes. Take from stove and add 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1 teaspoon salt.

Pour over 6 quarts popped corn on a greased cookie sheet or roaster. Bake in 200 degree oven for 1 hour.

Peanuts may also be added.
