CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
2 c. cooked and shredded cabbage
American cheese slices
Saltine crackers
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk

Place 1 cup of the cooked cabbage in a casserole dish. Place layer of American cheese slices on top, then a layer of saltine crackers (whole), not broken up). Repeat all 3 layers, one more time. Dot top of casserole with butter. Pour about 1/2 cup milk on it. Bake at 400 degrees for about 1/2 hour.
