COUNTRY COLE SLAW 
6 1/2 tbsp. (97.5 ml) mayonnaise
5 tsp. (25 ml) sugar
3 tbsp. (45 ml) safflower or peanut oil
Dash of garlic powder
Dash of onion powder
Dash of mustard powder
Dash of celery powder
Dash of freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp. (.5 ml) lemon juice
3 tbsp. (45 ml) half & half
1/8 tsp. (.6 ml) salt
1/2 lg. head cabbage, shredded
2 sm. carrots, shredded
1 tbsp. (15 ml) mixed sweet pickles, finely chopped

DRESSING: In a small mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar and oil. Add the garlic, onion, mustard and celery powder and freshly ground pepper to taste. Mix until well blended and smooth. Add lemon juice, half & half and salt. Stir until smooth.

SLAW: Place shredded cabbage, carrots and chopped pickles in a glass bowl. Pour dressing over slaw. Toss until vegetables are well coated. Serve chilled.
