ANGEL FOOD AND STRAWBERRY DESSERT | |
1 lg. angel food cake, torn in tiny bits 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello, dissolved in 1 c. hot water 1 pkg. frozen strawberries Chill Jello until slightly thickened. Then whip until frothy. Have strawberries ready and thawed. Add strawberries to Jello. Beat 1 pint whipping cream and add to Jello mixture. Mix well and pour over angel food cake bits. Mix thoroughly. Pour into 9x12 inch dish. Cover and store in refrigerator 24 hours before serving. Serves 16 people. Dream Whip may be substituted for the whipped cream. |
