CHICKEN IN SOUR CREAM 
1 lg. broiler, quartered
3 tbsp. butter
1 lg. onion, sliced
1/2 c. dry white wine
2-3 sprigs parsley
Pinch of basil & thyme
1/2 lb. whole mushrooms
1/2 pt. sour cream

Brown broiler in 3 tablespoons butter. In same pan, brown 1 large onion. Add white wine, parsley, basil and thyme. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. During last half hour, add 1/2 pound whole mushrooms.

Refrigerate or freeze. When ready to serve, bring to room temperature; reheat. Before serving, stir in sour cream. Heat, but do not boil. Great plan ahead recipe.
