PORK (OR CHICKEN) WITH RICE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. dry white wine
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
1 c. grated sharp cheddar
1/8 tsp. powdered sage
1 tsp. instant onion soup mix (Lipton)
2 c. diced, cooked chicken or pork
Salt & pepper
Paprika
Chopped parsley

Cook rice, drain and put in 3 quart casserole dish. Make sauce. Melt butter and add flour, stir until smooth. Add all other ingredients except cheese. Stir and bring just to a boil. Add 1/2 the cheese. Stir until melted. Add to rice and mix. Sprinkle rest of cheese on top and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
