MELT - IN - YOUR MOUTH DINNER ROLLS | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 1/2 c. warm water 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/3 c. butter 1/3 c. sugar Dash of salt 1 c. hot milk 4 1/2 c. flour 2 eggs, beaten Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar and baking powder; let stand for 20 minutes. Combine butter, sugar, salt, and hot milk. Cool to warm temperature; add eggs and yeast mixture. Stir in flour. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Knead, shape rolls and let rise in a warm place about 2 hours. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. When removed form oven, butter top of rolls. |
