PEGGY'S CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1 - 1 1/2 chickens (fryer)
1 1/2 c. rice (long cooking)
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 can chicken broth
1 can water
1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup mix

Wash and cut up chicken; drain. Spray baking dish with Pam. Place rice in bottom of dish, lay chicken pieces on rice. Mix golden mushroom soup, chicken broth and water. Pour mixture over chicken and rice. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over casserole. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. Cover casserole while baking. Remove lid last 10 minutes of cooking time. Excellent for crowds.
