CHEESE STRIPS 
6 slices bacon
1/2 lb. Sharp Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. chopped onion (small pieces)
3/4 c. chopped almonds (small pieces)
1 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. Worcestershire
Salt and pepper to taste
1 loaf thinly sliced bread

Cook or microwave bacon strips until crisp and crumbly. Grate cheese into medium size bowl. Add bacon, onions, almonds, mayonnaise, Worcestershire, salt and pepper; mix well. Trim off bread crusts. Spread mixture on each slice and cut into 4 strips. Place on cookie sheet and freeze for 1 hour. When ready to serve, bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Serve hot or at room temperature. (These may be stored in a plastic freezer bag in freezer to be baked as needed.) Makes 72 strips.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
