CREAMED CHICKEN AND OYSTERS EN
CASSEROLE
 
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. flour
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. milk or cream
2 c. chicken, cooked
1 tsp. salt
1 pt. oysters
Buttered crumbs

Melt butter in sauce pan; add flour and blend well. Add broth and milk slowly and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add chicken and salt. Cook until chicken is warmed. Turn into a buttered casserole, stir in cleaned oysters. Top with bread crumbs and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until crumbs are a golden brown.

Serves 6.
