BANANA BREAD 
3 ripe bananas, mashed
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mash bananas. Cream sugar, eggs and shortening. Add mashed bananas. Sift dry ingredients. Mix into cream mixture. Add nuts. Stir until well mixed. Pour into greased 5"x9" loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
