OVEN STEAMED RICE 
1 1/2 c. raw rice
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash black pepper
2 tbsp. butter
3 1/2 c. boiling water

In 2 quart ungreased casserole, with a tight fitting lid, mix rice, salt, pepper. Dot with butter, Pour boiling water over, stir with fork to melt butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Fluff up with fork before serving.
