OATMEAL CHOWDER 
2 tbsp. butter
1 lg. onion, diced
3 cooked carrots, diced
1 c. split peas, cooked
2 c. tomatoes
2 c. cooked oatmeal
1 qt. water
Salt to taste

Melt fat, add onion, cook until browned. Add all other ingredients and cook for 20 minutes.
