MACARONI CASSEROLE | |
1 (7 oz.) pkg. macaroni 8 slices American cheese 1/4 c. onion, chopped 1 c. chopped dried beef (or ham) 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 c. milk 1 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs Cook macaroni in salted water and drain. Spread cooked macaroni in greased 9x11 inch baking dish or pan. Arrange cheese slices over macaroni. Spread the dried beef (or ham) and the onion over the cheese. Mix cream of chicken soup with milk and pour over mixture. Top with a layer of buttered bread crumbs (4 slices of bread for crumbs mixed with 1/4 pound butter). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
