OVERNIGHT FRENCH TOAST | |
4 slices French bread 2 eggs 1/2 c. milk 2 tsp. sugar 1 tbsp. orange juice 1/4 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. butter Powdered sugar Place bread in baking dish large enough to allow slices to lie flat. Combine eggs, milk, sugar, orange juice, and vanilla; beat well. Pour mixture over bread slices; turn slices over to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Melt butter in large skillet; remove bread slices from dish and saute in butter until browned on each side. Sprinkle toast with powdered sugar before serving. |
