FRENCH COCONUT PIE | |
1 c. sugar 1/4 c. white Karo syrup 3 whole eggs 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. moist coconut 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 1/2 tbsp. flour 3 tbsp. butter Get one pie crust. Place in 375 degree oven for 1 1/2 minutes (pie crust). Remove from oven and allow to cool. Place coconut in bottom of pie crust. Combine flour and sugar. Add 3 whole eggs, slightly beaten. Add Karo syrup, butter, vanilla extract and milk. Mix thoroughly. Pour over coconut. Place in 375 degree oven for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees. Bake 40-50 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean. |
