AUNT MARIE'S NO PEEK BEEF AND
WINE
 
2 lbs. stew meat, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 env. onion soup mix
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (14 oz.) can whole mushrooms
1 c. wine

Combine all ingredients in heavy pan with tight fitting lid. Cook in medium oven for 4 hours. Do not lift lid while cooking. This with a salad and hot bread make a good meal.
