SNOWBALL CAKE | |
FILLING MIXTURE: 2 env. Knox gelatin, dissolve in cool water 1 c. boiling water 1 c. pineapple juice 1 c. crushed, drained pineapple 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt Juice of 1 lemon Mix above ingredients well. When partly set, add 2 boxes Dream Whip, whipped to stiff peak stage. CAKE INGREDIENTS: 1 lg. or 2 sm. angel food cakes with brown crust removed and broken into sm. pieces Line a 4 quart mixing bowl with wax paper or foil. Alternate layers of angel food cake and filling mixture. Refrigerate overnight or for several hours. Turn out onto cake plate and frost with: FROSTING INGREDIENTS: 1 pkg. Dream Whip mix 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 1/2 tsp. lemon juice or lemon flavoring Topping Ingredients: Top with Angel Flake coconut. |
