HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
6 potatoes, boil and peel and slice thin 26 slices bacon, fry, drain and crumble 1/2 c. onion, chopped, saute in 1/4 c. bacon drippings 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. celery seed Pepper Blend flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and mix with sauteed onions and cook over low heat, stirring until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup water and 1/2 cup vinegar. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Stir into potatoes and bacon carefully. Cover and let stand. |
