"DELICIOUS POTATOES" 
8 potatoes, shredded (I use 1 pkg. Mr. Dell's frozen hashbrowns)
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 pt. whipping cream
1 c. bread crumbs & enough butter to saute (I use Braeschelers garlic toast & crush it and saute with butter)

Layer potatoes, then cheese and end up with potatoes. Be sure and salt after each layer of potatoes. Pour cream over top. Bake for about 45 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle about 1 cup of half and half over top. Put bread crumbs on top and bake for about 20 minutes more or until golden.
