SPICED APPLESAUCE BREAD 
1 1/4 c. applesauce
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
3 tbsp. milk
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. all spice
1/2 c. chopped pecans

TOPPING:

1/4 c. pecans
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

In mixer bowl, thoroughly combine applesauce, white sugar, oil, eggs and milk. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, the first 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and all spice. Stir into applesauce mixture; beat well. Fold in the 1/2 cup pecans; turn into well greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Combine the 1/4 cup pecans, brown sugar, and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Remove from pan; cool on rack.
