FRUIT BARS 
1/4 c. butter
1 pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
1/4 c. milk
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
8 oz. pkg. pitted dates, chopped
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. dried apricots, chopped

Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in pudding powder and milk. Bring to boil over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in crumbs, dates, apricots, and nuts. Mixture will seem dry. Press into buttered 8 x 8 inch pan. Cover with foil and chill overnight. Cut into 1 x 2 inch bars.
