MRS. E. D. GREEN FRUIT CAKE 
1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1 qt. pecans
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Cut cherries, pineapple, pecans and roll them in 1 cup of above flour. Cream butter and sugar. Beat eggs well with mixer. Add fruit and nuts. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 3 hours.
