1 box instant pistachio pudding
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (15 or 16 oz.) can fruit cocktail, drained
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 pt. cut-up strawberries
1 can maraschino cherries, divided
1/4 c. finely chopped walnuts (optional)

Combine dry pistachio pudding, undrained pineapple, drained fruit cocktail, half of the maraschino cherries and nuts, if desired. Gently mix. Fold in Cool Whip. Top with remaining cherries. Refrigerate overnight.
