2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
18 oz. Hershey's bars, grated
5 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
3 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts)
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
24 oz. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla together. Then add dry ingredients; next nuts and finally Hershey's bars and chocolate chips. Roll into balls and bake 2 inches apart for 7 to 8 minutes. Makes a BIG batch.
