BEEF AND CHEESE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
3 tbsp. A-1 sauce
1/3 c. minced onion
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
8 oz. shredded Cheddar
1 c. cooked elbow macaroni
6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
5 tomato slices

Fry bacon. Remove and drain. In bacon grease, brown ground chuck. Drain thoroughly. To browned beef add A-1 sauce, 3/4 cup of the cheese, onion, tomato sauce, 1/2 of bacon crumbled and cooked macaroni. Mix well. Let it come to a simmer.

Spoon into a buttered casserole dish. Top with sliced tomatoes. Bake, uncovered, 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup cheese and bacon over tomatoes. Bake an additional 10 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
