PICNIC BEAN & SAUSAGE LOAF 
1 lb. pork sausage
2 (16 oz.) pork & beans
2 c. herb stuffing mix
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tbsp. thyme
1/2 c. ketchup

In medium fry pan, cook sausage until well done. Drain on paper towels. Crumble. In large bowl combine sausage with remaining ingredients, mix well. Spoon into well greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Level top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. (For easier serving, let loaf stand 5 minutes at room temperature after removing from oven.) Serve hot with grated cheddar cheese, tomato sauce, chili sauce or mustard. Serve cold also, thinly sliced on sandwich or salad plate. Makes 8 servings.
