APRICOT CHICKEN 
2 (3 1/2 lb.) broiling chickens, cut up
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic salt to taste
1/2 lb. apricot preserves
6 oz. Russian dressing
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Season chicken well with salt, pepper and garlic salt.

3. Mix together apricot preserves, Russian dressing and dry onion soup. Pour over the chicken and bake in the oven about 45 minutes, or until golden brown. Serves 6-8.

I never used garlic salt, just plain salt. Better accepted by kids.
