1 lb. Pork Sausage 1 lb. Ground Beef 1 lb. Kraft Velveeta Cheese 1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning 1/2 tsp. or less Garlic Salt 1 Loaf Party Rye Bread Fry sausage, break up to fine crumbles and drain. Fry ground beef, break up to fine crumbles and drain. Combine meats in pan and add seasoning and garlic salt. Cut up cheese and add to pan and mix until melted to a smooth paste. Spoon prepared mixture onto party rye squares and spread to coat evenly. Lay single layer and freeze on pan overnight. Separate and place in freezer bags for taking out quantity as desired. Keep frozen. Bake desired number of toasts (from frozen) on 350°F for 12 minutes, then turn to BROIL until edges of toast are crunchy (about 4 minutes). Submitted by: lsandre |
