SHANGHAI CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onions
1 clove garlic, minced
2 c. sliced celery
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed veg., thawed
2 c. cooked rice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (3 oz.) can Chinese noodles

Brown ground beef with onions and garlic in skillet, stirring until crumbly. Stir in remaining ingredients except noodles. Spoon into greased 2 1/2 quart casserole. Bake covered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Top with noodles. Bake uncovered for 5 minutes longer. Yields 6-8 servings.
