DATE LOAF CANDY 
1 lb. dates
1 1/2 c. pecans
1 lb. walnuts
4 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 can milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Cook milks, sugar and salt until hard ball is formed. Cool and add dates and beat until creamy. Add pecans and walnuts; stir until hard enough to roll in a log in a damp cloth. Slice as needed.
