1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 lb. raw peanuts

Measure ingredients into a heavy skillet. Cook and stir constantly until sugar crystalizes on the nuts. Pour nuts onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Salt. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes; stir and bake 15 minutes more. Cool.
