2 lbs. soup bones 1 lb. chopped meat 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 c. Progresso bread crumbs 1 egg 1/2 lb. pasta stars or cooked rice 1 pkg. frozen vegetables 1 can tomato sauce 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic powder Put bones in large pot with 4 quarts of water and onion. Mix meat with cheese, bread crumbs, egg, salt and garlic powder. Make small meatballs and drop into pot. Add tomato sauce. Cook on simmer after it comes to a boil for about 2 1/2 hours. Add frozen vegetables and cook another 30 minutes. Serve with cooked rice or pasta. |
