1 sm. head lettuce
1 sm. onion
1/2 green pepper
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, cubed
Tomato wedges
1 (8 oz.) bottle 1000 Island dressing
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 lg. can kidney beans
1 regular bag Doritos

Make salad from first 6 ingredients. Brown meat and add seasoning mix. Do not add water. Pour beans without draining them into skillet. Cook just until beans are tender but not mushy. Pour hot mixture over salad before serving and top with crushed Doritos.
