BEEF AND BISCUIT CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. bell pepper 1/2 c. diced up onions 1 c. sour cream 1 tsp. chili powder 1 egg, beaten 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 small can tomato sauce 1 can biscuits Brown ground beef, bell pepper and onions; add chili powder and 1/2 of Cheddar cheese. (Save the other half of the cheese for the top of casserole.) Add beaten egg and tomato sauce. Take pan off of heat and add sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Line square baking dish with biscuits. Peel biscuits apart and cover pan. Add meat mixture and top with rest of biscuits, peeled as if making a crust. Top with the rest of cheese. Bake in 350°F oven until nicely browned, approximately 30 minutes. |
