HOT ROLLS 
1 1/2 c. warm milk
1/2 c. warm water
3 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. soft shortening
3 eggs, at room temperature

Heat liquids to 120 to 130 degrees. Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl and pour in liquids. Mix well. Add shortening and eggs. Mix well. Add 4-5 cups flour and mix with mixer. Then add 1 cup of flour at a time to make tacky dough. Let rise in warm place for about 1 1/2 hours. Punch down. Cut out, place in pan and let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
