AUNT OLA ARANT'S HOT ROLLS 
1 c. creamed potatoes
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. scalded milk
1 yeast cake in 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
6 or 7 c. plain flour (more if needed)

Mix scalded milk, eggs, sugar, potatoes, salt, and shortening. Add yeast, then flour.

Pour in large mixing bowl and cover air tight. Set in refrigerator. For dinner, make rolls 3/4 hour before baking time. Bake in 400 degree oven.

Mixture will keep a week or longer if kept worked down.
