MARION'S COUNTRY HAM 
Put country ham in a large lardstand can; add 1/2 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup brown sugar and water to cover ham. Fasten top and bring to boil. Boil for 20 minutes. Set lard can on newspapers and wrap in several thicknesses of paper. Tie with string and cover with blanket tucked under good. Let set for 1 hour for each pound of ham. Take out and remove skin. Score top and stick with whole cloves. Cover with brown sugar and baste with a cola drink (Double Cola, Pepsi, or Coca Cola). Cook at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
