1 c. plain flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 2 eggs 1 tbsp. cooking oil Spoon flour into measuring cup and level off. Pour into mixing bowl. Add all remaining ingredients except oil. Beat with rotary beater or electric mixer at medium speed for 1 minute. Heat oil in muffin pan in preheated 425 degree oven for 2 minutes. Pour batter into hot pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until crisp and brown. Serve immediately with roast beef and gravy. Yields 12. |
